Chief Financial Officer

Chas Michel's background spans Chief Financial and Chief Accounting Officer roles across manufacturing, transportation, restaurants, energy, and aerospace. His experience includes leading IPO and M&A processes, raising and restructuring corporate debt, building accounting and finance functions from the ground up, and advising executive teams and boardrooms on strategic financial direction across a wide range of industries.

Prior to joining RePower™, Chas served as Partner and CFO Consultant at SeatonHill Partners, a national CFO services firm, where he directed accounting and reporting functions — including SEC compliance — for numerous client organizations. He also served as VP and CFO of Dave & Buster's, Inc., where he played an integral role in transforming the company from a 5-unit subsidiary into a 28-unit, NYSE-listed, multinational entity with $350 million in revenue.

Over the course of his career, Chas has raised more than $300 million in Senior Notes, led an on-schedule Oracle ERP implementation while reducing accounting service center headcount by 40%, cut close cycles and cash receipt posting times significantly, and managed banking, audit, and legal relationships across public and private companies. He began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick in Dallas, where he was admitted to Partnership in 1986 after more than a decade on the audit staff.

At RePower Electric Corp™, Chas helps guide the company's financial strategy, operational discipline, and long-term growth initiatives as RePower™ continues expanding its role in practical commercial fleet electrification.
